Now I wonder if Alex is linked to the dream of one of the ladies touching him, or Fireblade has fallen asleep at her station.
How many of the ladies on Highland-7 can have dreams of a murdered world in ruins?
For all we know, this is a Loroi's dream image of a Dreiman relic she once saw. Not Fireblade's memory of a damaged space elevator on Seren.

Just for clarity: the last image is from Second Six (a fantasy setting), and not this setting.

Is there any plans to show a WIP for #187?

To see whether Beryl is slightly mind-link'd and is linking him to possibly Fireblade and is seeing her dreams somehow ??

The only interesting panels from page 187 are too spoilerific to post in WIP, but I can post something mundane if it will help.

Barring some kind of unforeseen disaster, the page should be up on Monday.

August was just one of those months where I was spectacularly unproductive. But one of the upsides going forward is that I have three mostly-finished pages in the buffer.

First thing he does is huff paint thinners. Stay classy, Alex.

Well, I suspect he is smelling something like burning flesh. And yes, it could either be a memory of one of the Loroi/Seren (Maybe Fireblade) or some vision of earth.

The circumstances would point to Fireblade.

More likely he's wiping blood from his mouth.

The smell of burnt/rotten flesh is something you never forget. He might not be trying to prevent himself from smelling but from throwing up. I think this is his subconscious reflecting on his choice. This is what will happen if the Loroi lose.

The smell of burnt self is particularly hardwired to 'very bad, avoid at all costs'. Rag? could be filter attempt, could be blood clean up. I'm guessing this is not a pure dream - influence from Fireblade/other Loroi because plot. Realize I'm biased in this, very few of my dreams make much sense 5 minutes after waking and most are out of memory in 20 minutes. The ones I remember, I remember for decades. Obligatory XKCD.

You mean that on Patreon or there is another buffer?

He never said which Monday.
He might have meant the third Monday in the September of the year following the finalisation of the first quarter of this century.

California is on fire right now, that sounds like a reasonable disaster.

Good point. And even if the flames aren’t nearby, the smoke goes a long long way.

And messes with your lungs etc. at the same time as there’s a pandemic on. Which also makes the logistics of controlling the fires harder.

The really disturbing thing is that there might be a trend for the fire seasons to be get longer and worse.

Internet and power disruptions have increased in places in California due to the fires.
