Perhaps my obvious dislike of pan dulce makes me think that even the fictional Loroi would dislike it?

Since it is quite deceptive. Looks awesome... tastes like dry bread with sugar on top. Colors do not indicate any difference in flavor. It is mere food coloring. I even told a baker of pan dulce once (I tried to like the stuff but could not) why not .. put some filling in those conchas at least?

I remember I asked more than one person of latino origin what is the reason they est it if it is NOT a donut.

Reasons include:

1. You do not eat it dry! Stop that! Get a glass of milk or coffee and dip it. It is is supposed to be an ensemble food not the main one.

2. Everyone and their mom grew up eating it so... there is that.

I'd really love to see some Loroi enjoy some chocolate candy or some other sweet candy, but something tells me it might not be good for them, and could have negative effects if consumed.

So if you really want to prank a Loroi good, invite them over for dinner.

At dinnertime serve them burgers... heavily smeared with vanilla sauce (ediblie kind).

When one of the Loroi in horror asks to visit the restroom have the restrooom adorned with a table shrine with tons of stalker-like pictures of Loroi and art of elves. With VANILLA scented candles too.

Loroi would run out of there in no time.


That's the kind of trick you pull if your son is dating a Loroi female and you disapprove.


It's like that movie Look Who Is Coming To Dinner.... with Loroi.

Only way more comedic!
