Hmmm. Alex's walk... just from the way he's posed, it looks like...

Dare I say it?

The perspective in that picture looks really hard to draw. I say that as someone struggling with perspective right now.

The helmets look hard to draw too, at least from the perspective Fireblade is standing at. Oh god. Nice work Arioch.

The problem with the helmets is the hair customization, and figuring out how to make that work and still be believable and recognizable as a helmet.
The "standard" helmets are easy for that ... but Fireblade's is tough. At least, if you want to let her keep her unhelmeted hairstyle while wearing the helmet. I think she'd still be pretty recognizable with just the long tail of red hair, though; or, at least, recognizable enough.

Actually, with the helmet styles that Reed and the unnamed guard are wearing, the hair would come out the underside of the back section, which would be relatively easy to seal quickly, if necessary.
Fireblade's helmet would be pretty tricky to seal up, I think, unless ... the back portion is concealed under some of her hair, indicating two openings for hair on her helmet.

Or maybe not.

Alex: ("Whoops!")
Loroi left: ("Don't take any step to this direction.")
Loroi behind: ("Uh that smell.")
Fireblade: ("Don't pay attention to it.")

I think they don't know what's going on - siren or alarm there, but they are clothed in the armor. Or do they arrive at your destination.

Most likely option is she's simply talking through a radio or something like that. Although since Loroi have telepathy and all that, verbal communications shouldn't really be necessary (except in specific situations, as we've seen before). Maybe the Umiak have jammed telepathic communications? Maybe I'm reading too far into this?

Or maybe she just got a text message. Or she's adjusting part of her equipment.

Long-range or recorded conversations would need to be by radio. Particularly if it's supposed to be secure (Beryl's request for shoes was long-range and sanzai but it was also broadcast to everyone in range so it could be relayed to where it needed to go).

Alex a bit startled, Fireblade with her "Not Impressed"-Face. This is going to be interesting.

Edit: Maybe another "guest"? Ellen? The Emperor? An Umiak prisoner?

EDIT: I hope Alex is a Warhammer 40k fan, so he can make EMPRAH jokes when he meets her.

Arioch's style keeps getting better and better!

Concerning what Alex is asking, I'm betting it was something along the lines of "So where's Beryl?

hi hi

Doth my eyes deceive me, or is that maybe a vague sympathetic but also vaguely pitying expression on Reeds face? She sort of looks like she's thinking something along the lines of "there the human goes again, what a strange creature." The kind of expression you get when you watch a dog trying to catch its own tail. :P
