Never sold more than a few, but I think merchandise is something which should definitely be revisited at some point. There are a lot more options today than there were when I set that up.
I think you should look into custom playmats e.g. https://www.inkedgaming.com — they're large enough (24 × 14 in.) that they can double as deskmats, which are in vogue right now.
