I assume Daydream must have been really hungry, since she did not bother investigating the tree creature further and was simply happy to make a meal of the predator.
I by nature am curious person... so I would have to starved to not investigate further, so I found it amusing that Daydream was like "Hmmm.... this is unusual... but who cares? I got meat... yaaay!"
