Title says all.
Are there any measures that can be taken? Uncontrolled spam tends to kill communities as it is a hallmark of an abandoned forum.

Four spam messages were up for a few hours. I think the forum will survive.
I check the forums multiple times per day, and I periodically change the CAPTCHA questions, but a few bots will slip through now and then.

I do see a bit of spam now and then, but for a one-mod community with a public visible link to the form, the amount of spam really is very low!

I know that I have a bit of a disasterific personality
For some reason It has taught me to be preventative in certain issues, better safe than sorry and all that.
