Problem accessing webpage

For at least three solid hours I had problems accessing both the forums and the webpage. I didn't get a 404 or other such message, just a site specific message that the server had dropped the connection or DNS errors.

Yeah, the server is having a nutty. Unfortunately, my webhost does that from time to time.

Sorry for the thread necromancing.
Not sure why, but I had a hard time reaching the forum today. It either loads very slowly, not at all or doesn't stop loading. Tried it on various devices and browsers.

I noticed some DNS errors over the last few days. The webhost sometimes goes through some rough patches.

Alright, I hope it gets better.

The rough patches have gotten pretty common lately.

EDIT: This time it ain't just the forum, the comic pages are also affected by it and fail to load.

Sorry for the inconvenience. Aside from switching web hosts, there's isn't much I can do about it right now.

We'll weather it out.
There are worse things we've sat through and are still visiting these forums.... ;)

Have you considered switching webhosts? I've heard good things about Digital Ocean...

If it continues to be a problem I'll consider it.

Seems this is a good thread to report an issue.

In the Insider main page, the Fuel and Support link returns a 404 error to me.

I removed/renamed the file for some reason, not sure why, perhaps noticed something in the file was incorrect or intended to replace it with the systems page (which still isn't done yet). I don't see anything egregious at a glance, so I replaced it.

It's very strange, but from mobile internet I get a plain 404 for every and all pages of well-of-souls.com, http and https both.
The only responding page is root (http://well-of-souls.com/), that shows me a standard Apache "Index of" page with only subfolder of cgi-bin/.

But from desktop, which use different internet provider, everything works fine.

Thieves got into my account at the DNS provider and redirected the domain away from my webhost, so be careful of any site you are redirected to (though currently it seems to return a 404 error). I am working to resolve the issue, but from my interactions with the provider I'm guessing that they won't even look at it until Monday.

I'm still able to access the site, probably because the DNS is cached in my browser. The hosting web server is fine, it's just the domain that has been redirected.
