Depending on from which language you interpret, it either means "See the finch, a son of the raven, patron saint of the soldier." in both germanic and hewbrew or "The finch who perceives all, the patron saint of the soldier" in hebrew only, with a spelling correction to my first name.

It shouldn't be hard to guess what the full name is that this refers to.

The son of Mars (roman God of war, therefore the meaning can be interpreted as "The Soldier", or "martial", "born for war", ..., as well).
My family name is an abbreviation of "The one who lives close to the (Curonian) Split".

The meaning of my name is therefore
"The soldier from the Split".
Or
"The man of war from the Split".

I never fully interpreted the complete name, so this is new to me, and I learnt something about myself.
Thanks.

James is derived from the Greek version of Hebrew Jacob, which mans "usurper."
William is the English version of German Wilhelm from wil "will, desire" and helm "helmet, protection".
Francis derived from Latin Franciscus means "Frankish man" (archaic "Frenchman").

So, you're the
"Usurper who desires the helmet of the Frankish men" ?

My first name means Either "God has lifted" or "God establishes"

My second name mean "Honored"

My third middle name means either "Staff of the gods/ Gods staff" or if we believe the theory that its root is in another language family then it could mean "honored guest"

And lastly my surname simply means "Man of the east"

There is a huge amount of possiblities with these but the one i go with is "God has lifted this honored staff of the east".

But i suppose it would make more sense to say "Godmade honored guest of the east". Either way works :D

My first name is Old-English for "old friend"

My middle name is Welsh for "grey"

My surname is Welsh for "Son of David"

So I suppose to have that make some kind of coherent sense, I'd be "old grey friend, the offspring of David", which would be true enough on Loroi timescales.

My first name is Greek for "defender\preserver"
Middle name Greek roots too - "honorable\respectable\highly esteemed".
Surname is Slavic for "greatclub".

"Honorable guardian of Greatclub"? Maybe "Keeper of respectable greatclub"?

I’d be the Righteous One From The Hedge

An alternative interpretation for the given name is more colourful, referring to an underworld god from Java who “always knew everything there is to know”. This name would be called out while swearing, or in exasperation.

In this view it could be ‘Spook’ From The Hedge

First name could mean either "beloved" in Hebrew, "martial" in Latin, or "of the sea" in Greek.
Second name is easiest and simply means stalwart.
Family name means "of the harvests".

So together, they might mean "beloved stalwart of the harvests" or "martial stalwart of the harvests".

"Wood pasture of angels" but the angel part could be a euphemism for back-alley abortions.

I'm not sure how the Loroi would react.

God has been gracious to the descendents (son) of those (who have heard His voice or whom He has heard).

If you include the middle name, it clarifies the statement to God has been gracious by sending His friend to the descendents (son) of those (who have heard His voice or whom He has heard.)

My first surname could either mean barrier or fence.
The second one references Spanish landowner in colonized America.

In my case it is:
  1. Son of Mars / Soldier / Warrior
  2. House + Mighty/Lord
  3. Determination + Helmet or "equipped with"
  4. Tailor or Beer/Wine Transporter
So, to be poetic and a bit liberal about it (like our dear friend Alex is):
The lord of the house, a mighty warrior, armored with determination, bringer of good wine and mead.

All lies and slander, as usual. :D

Approximately, "A beneficial man descends". Which is somehow only slightly more overblown than what my father somehow thinks it means: "A man with a firey ax descends". I have no idea how he came to that meaning.

As for what actual words are involved, I will only say that part is Welsh, and I refuse to pay whoever has been writing the Urban Dictionary for "Jared". It looks like some weird PR campaign to me.

Depending on who you ask, my first name in Gaelic means "The Falcon", in Anglo-Saxon, "The Sea Fort". My 2nd name in Mandarin means, "The Wise". My last name means, "The younger".

Roughly translated it either means, "Falcon of the Wise and Young" or "Sea Fort of the Wise and Young".

In Mandarin, my whole given name means, "He who is wise and benevolent".

My given name means "Chieftain/Ruler" and my family name could be interpreted as "familiar/close man", so for the Loroi I could call myself "The Ruling Man who is Close and Familiar" which may not sit very well with them
