Obviously Alex is at an advantage here: He can hear the Loroi, but apparently his mind-shield is very effective.Quickdraw101 wrote:Gonna be even more embarrassing if Alex starts having lucid dreams of the lewd kind. It would probably drive Fireblade crazy, but its hilarious to think about.
Certainly well known in the UK.Krulle wrote: Is cock-and-bull story a widely recognized term in the bigger English speaking countries?
I wonder if Alex's and Fireblade's nightmares will begin to intertwine, since they share the same theme.Ithekro wrote:Alex's dreams will still likely center on the nightmare that happened to him and his crewmates just a week or two ago.
Though it is likely only a matter of time before his hormones start to work their way into his dreams again. Though the question on if that will start to include some of his blue female shuttle companions or if it will remain a all human dream remains an unknown.
Doubt it (would be very interesting, especially if the dreams interact), but it will be also be interesting if Alex starts getting flashes of unusual detail during Loroi mental conversations involving Fireblade.raistlin34 wrote:I wonder if Alex's and Fireblade's nightmares will begin to intertwine, since they share the same theme.
"All I am saying is that the last time I said something to a buddy of mine about his dead mother he replied that I got something in my eye and then proceeded to take it out with a punch."
He might be asking about the eye injury of fireblade and give away that he could sense her memories.dragoongfa wrote:

Well, if he’s asking “Did something happen to Fireblade’s eye?” without thinking through the implications, he’s an idiot.Arent wrote:He might be asking about the eye injury of fireblade and give away that he could sense her memories.
Not necessary. Different races, different chemistry, means that loroi wont necessarily have same RGB sight than us. Someone with ultraviolet sight could easily notice old scar tissue under perfectly smooth skin and while loroi do have made quick scan about our anatomy and tech, they don't yet know everything about our bodies.kiwi wrote:Well, if he’s asking “Did something happen to Fireblade’s eye?” without thinking through the implications, he’s an idiot.Arent wrote:He might be asking about the eye injury of fireblade and give away that he could sense her memories.

Depends. For story reasons, having good and bad Loroi that are after or protecting Alex might spice things up a bit. After all, good stories only seldomly follow the rules of logic, but rather the rules of action & fun.kiwi wrote:Alex: “No, my face is meant to look like this.”

Or this could be a policy shift on his part. We have seen him reveal big information in the past (eg length of Earth year, approximate location of earth on star charts.
If he has indeed received some sanzai, there will be many questions. Thinking about it, the Loroi might be even more leery of a race which can hear their sanzai and have perfect lotai...
Alex was locked up in the brig, mosely as "protective custody" mostly to safeguard him from bad loroi I believe. He challenge loroi doctrine with his mere existence and there is a risk that someone may try to harm him.Arent wrote:Depends. Also, his little historian 'porn app' might interfere in the very last minute. And tell him he shouldn't go into too much detail.
Premonition? Perhaps but she look younger in the picture with the eyes car hinting it to be a memory.Roeben wrote:It might not be memories he is seeing...
