Do Loroi dream the fantastic and nonsensical way humans do? Because if there's a two-way always-on connection, Fireblade may not be ready for the LSD trip of human dreams. Lot of ifs, but they're fun ones.

Gonna be even more embarrassing if Alex starts having lucid dreams of the lewd kind. It would probably drive Fireblade crazy, but its hilarious to think about.

Obviously Alex is at an advantage here: He can hear the Loroi, but apparently his mind-shield is very effective.

In fact, it would be pretty underhanded, if he would keep that one sided listening in a secret. But because of the warnings of the historians I suspect that's exactly where the story will go. Maybe at one point he might share it with those Loroi he knows he can trust (probably the present core team), but there will be others who will be less trustworthy.

Alex's dreams will still likely center on the nightmare that happened to him and his crewmates just a week or two ago.

Though it is likely only a matter of time before his hormones start to work their way into his dreams again. Though the question on if that will start to include some of his blue female shuttle companions or if it will remain a all human dream remains an unknown.

Doubt it (would be very interesting, especially if the dreams interact), but it will be also be interesting if Alex starts getting flashes of unusual detail during Loroi mental conversations involving Fireblade.

Not necessary. Different races, different chemistry, means that loroi wont necessarily have same RGB sight than us. Someone with ultraviolet sight could easily notice old scar tissue under perfectly smooth skin and while loroi do have made quick scan about our anatomy and tech, they don't yet know everything about our bodies.

Depends. For story reasons, having good and bad Loroi that are after or protecting Alex might spice things up a bit. After all, good stories only seldomly follow the rules of logic, but rather the rules of action & fun.

Also, his little historian 'porn app' might interfere in the very last minute. And tell him he shouldn't go into too much detail.

That’s true. If Alex plays it safe and says nothing of consequence, the story won’t progress except through outside influence.

It might not be memories he is seeing...

Alex was locked up in the brig, mosely as "protective custody" mostly to safeguard him from bad loroi I believe. He challenge loroi doctrine with his mere existence and there is a risk that someone may try to harm him.
