Being a Patreon supporter I have gathered that it is a portable lamp. The lights may go out to preserve energy so an emergency portable lamp should be standard equipment.

I'll hazard a guess that the thing in Talon's hand is just a fancy water bottle. Jardin probably got hungry after looking at an MRE pack and Beryl probably wants to have a taste as well. Of course, it's for the purpose of recommending the same to Loroi high command if they taste good.

Finding it quite amusing, what ideas people have regarding the object in Talon's hand, I'll keep my guess quite grounded and say it's a flashlight/portable emergency lamp kind of thing

I wonder if a Patreon with "non-canon fan-service scenes" would attract more paying readers, similar to what Love Not Found does (the author has "extended scenes and side-stories" for those paying extra).
