Nothing gets a party going like food and drinks, drinks, drinks.
And alcohol to protect the body against the cold, cold, ice-cold space temperatures coming their way.
I do wonder though if there's actually an inebriant drink in those bottles, or whether those are liquid astronaut food rations...

You really don't want to consume alcohol when you're about to be in a state of prolonged cold temperatures.
It causes your blood vessels to widen and the heat you feel from it is actually heat escaping your body, leaving your core temperature worse off.
I expect a futuristic military would have some pretty strict guidelines against that kind of dangerous behavior.
I would guess they're some kind of Loroi equivalent to an electrolyte drink. The protein shakes or liquid nutrition supplements in MREs and other field rations have too much 'stuff' in them to be translucent like these are; I can't imagine how these would be any different.
Though they could just appear translucent because the page hasn't been shaded yet, in which case this guess is worth as much as the virtual paper it's written on.
I know that alcohol in your blood won't prevent you from freezing... (and actually quickens the process of colling your body temperature to dangerous levels)
But being inbreviated simply lets you feel the cold less.
Allowing you to fall asleep easier.

I dont think that those bottles are made for long term storaging nor having some liquid nutrient meal on them.
Light isnt usually good for those, as it can activate reactions at molecyles.
Alcohol, being a diuretic, will also make you lose water faster. One way your body gets rid of waist is by urination, and booze is essentially a poison, so you are going to be peeing a lot.
I also believe either in on their page or their Q&A thread, Loroai don't don't like taking mind altering substances as being telepathic and/or telekinetic beings this could lead to some messy situations. Also assuming Fireblade is a lightweight, would you risk finding out if she's a happy drunk or an angry drunk?
My boring guess: she’s been quietly observing Alex’s less inhibited behaviour, and is now entering the fray to avert a Diplomatic Incident (eg Beryl punches Ex in the face).
I expect it’s an artefact of the cropping, but I kinda looks to me like Tempo is lying sideways across an armchair.
It's gotta be pretty serious to make the irrepressible Talon look nervous.
EDIT: extra thought...
Alex: "Ah, an old-fashioned teachable moment.. The expressions on your faces line up quite well with how we feel about your destroying the Tithric."
The look they receive when they first hear his comment about not wanting beryls breast milk per say
Repeated in the final panel for humorous effect when he explains instead they reared a range of different related species as farm animals to mass produce milk for them instead and harvest it with specialized tools.
Instead of picturing cattle: they imagine humanlike creatures instead.
So Alex has the job of explaining the sheer diversity of animals on earth which far exceeds that of any known planet the Loroi have encountered so far (well outside of the ocean worlds i suppose)
If that's their reaction to Alex mentioning that Humans drink milk from *animals* that's funny.
Actually, I personally thought the "I'm not lactating" comment by Beryl was a bit over the top. It would have been enough to show her touching/guarding her breasts and saying "Y-You want milk?", slightly uncomfortable what this Human is implying. You don't need to exaggerate such puns.
