Beryl seems very worried that Alex is taking this too seriously. I think that our two fighter jocks are waiting to sit around the "camp fire" with the warm human. Spiral and Talon have accepted their Wyrd and would be utterly confused if someone told them they could change their fate.

This is the sort of thing I am looking forward to, Loroi backstory. I especially want to hear Fireblades backstory.

Cops, soldiers etc live as cynics. I don't see any difference here. Although I would love to get some backstory, to include that of Fireblade.

I suspect that as they relax, we will get to see the conversation go back to Terra/Human concepts and history. Beryl is such an info-magpie that I don't see her giving Alex much time to not talk to her. After all her job is to obtain data.

Also are we going to see Fireblade out of armor, and as relaxed as she could get? It would be interesting to have some panels where she is going through some telepathic PTSD possibly to "humanize" her in Alex's opinion. Also it might be good to get some of the Loroi characters backstory to flesh out...

Not claiming that there would be *ahem* adult content, I just said that there would be a kiss. I think that Beryl might want to get closer that way to see if she can "read" Alex.
