I don't think the Loroi have ever run across a race so resistant to their mind scanning.

I believe they have in the past, they're just exceedingly rare.

I imagine the context of the latest WIP picture will not fully make sense until the next page is completed.

1) "heat" only matters if there is matter to conduct it. Radiation is likely to be the cause of death for the Loroi on the ship, not shrapnel or some sort of pressure wave.

I am loving all these WIP updates. I feel I am being spoiled by all this high-quality art; Arioch's spaceship design is very top-notch especially. The under-side intake vaguely reminds me of a Taiidani Heavy Cruiser.

I cannot believe we are having this discussion again.
