Re: Expedition

Chapter 8. Graveyard --- Six months had passed since Sword had begun her voyage. And at the moment, all representatives were solemny watching the viewscreens in their quarters and lounges, after Wildfire had linked them to the central viewer on the bridge. "An entire solar system. Seven planets. Now...

Re: Expedition

The chapter below is -as usual- 100 percent canon and 100 percent serious. It also reveals Meow's purpose, which is completely credible and not over the top at all.

Re: Is the comic dead?

Let's look at it logically. -First thing babies do after they are born is cry. -People cry when they experience pain, distress and/or grief. -Ergo: babies experience pain, distress and/or grief when born. -This means that being born is a traumatic experience. -Exposing babies to traumatic experience...

Re: Is the comic dead?

I sometimes wonder if I could be a child again if Inwould have made different choices. I would. My pocket money would be spent on Microsoft shares instead of modelkits. And I would definitely not have bought a book on C++ for 100 bitcoin, back when they were worth 50 cents and only a pizzeria in Fr...

Apart from a few grammatical errors, it is a fine chapter.
Please don't mention grammatical errors. I'm traumatized enough after rereading my stuff after 6 months. :)

Re: Expedition

To put your minds at ease: Fireblade kick's Seline's ass almost every time they spar. With Fireblade that is expected though. Seline also should not be able to defeat mike tyson in his prime no matter what kwan do or juju stuff she tries. Since Tyson will bite if he gets frustrated and Seline is no...

Re: Expedition

Something I just remembered is that female Loroi are as strong as human males for their weight... which means the only way Seline could have defeated the Teidar in combat was superior skill and dodging... since just how often do women in real life manhandle or beat up guys? It's out of the ordinary...

Thanks! I hope I find more, Hell, might be even tempted to dust off my graphics tablet, time allowing of course!
Why would you not dust it off? Do one page every two months.... Make it a one-shot or a short story...

Re: Expedition

Well who knew an epic space adventure has time for moments seemingly straight out of seinfield? It would be amusing though likely impossible for the Loroi to encounter someone like.... the kramer! ST_gvwzBnwA You know, I never saw a single episode of that series. I don't know why. Anyway, I'm going...

Uh, hope your ok Arioch, kinda missing the comic!
Two or three sketches are released on Patreon on the first of every month, so the comic is continuing. No finished pages though. You can ask Arioch to release the sketches on Patreon that are a couple of months old.

Re: Californian Vacation

That's 375 euros a month. For this, you could already rent a small apartment on the outskirts of Berlin, all utilities included. Well, at least before the recent price hike. cost me around 60,000 euros. That would be about half an apartment here. I believe you. But I wouldn't be able to choose my n...

Re: Californian Vacation

. Isn't boat maintenance crazily expensive? I would say that expenses = size^2 * hull_material. A modern polyester boat is incredibly cheap in maintenance because the osmosis problem was solved. Next is aluminium/aluminum. Steel means always having to have a supply of paint aboard. And wood is the ...

Re: Californian Vacation

Given the direction the US estate market develops towards, that's just a pipe dream, even in fiction. :( Not just the US estate market. Prices in the Netherlands and many other European countries are through the roof as well. An old, crappy little house on a tiny island in Frisia that has no electr...

I really enjoyed the short discussion Greywind had with Tempo on human lying, that's a concept not really explored yet and a deep well of possibilities.
Let me know if you have any ideas. Maybe they will help me with the story.

Re: Californian Vacation

Tim Lancis? Gee now where have I heard that before? I don't know. Alex made it up. Nice humor series! I like it. Though am curious that the Emperor has not made arrangements prior with Earth authorities to enjoy an incognito vacation on Earth. Might they see this secret visit as espionage? She need...

Re: Expedition

Pff. This sucks. I downloaded everything I wrote so I could go over it and remove inconsistencies and maybe a few typos. Except "a few typos" turned out to be a lot of typos and other errors. And the worst of it is that I keep finding new ones no matter how many times I re-read. I guess that my brai...

Re: Californian Vacation

One thing I perhaps obsess over is that fact that although it would break your story properly... Loroi actually would have difficulr time passing for cosplayers. Fortunately this is science fiction so I can solve the problem immediately. :) You see, in 50 years time someone will invent a transparen...

Re: Californian Vacation

Prologue. --- "And I'm telling you that you need some shore leave, Azerein." Coldstone sent. "Desperately, if I may say so. The war is over and it is time to rebuild. The people need to see an energetic leader." "It is not that I don't agree." Greywind sent back and sighed. "But unfortunately this i...
