Re: Miscellaneous Loroi question-and-answer thread

You haven't factored the Loroi's force field generators into your calculations. That's something the Bellarmine doesn't have.

I think you meant canon. A cannon is what you use to shoot at things with.

Re: Fan Theories on How the Umiak can hide from the farseers

Sunphoenix, since the Umiak commander actually contacted the Tempest , there was at least one Umiak in the Naam system. Since the Loroi Farseers can reliably determine troop concentrations over interstellar distances, the evidence implies that the Umiak can now cloak themselves from Farseers. And we...

Actually from rereading pages 12-13 of the Prologue, the first shot cut the Bellarmine in two, while the second ignited her fuel tanks.

Re: Miscellaneous Terran question-and-answer thread

I've been thinking about the destruction of the Bellarmine . It looked to me as if their attacker was waiting for them. The problem is, who would have known the Bellarmine's route besides the TCA? The question I want to ask is: Did the other ships (beside the Prabhu ) know the other scout ship's jum...

Re: Loroi sexuality

This is ignoring the fact that some Loroi have psychokinesis ( which does have some uses in espionage -floating portable computers out the door or window, grabbing trusted personnel from a distance, et cetera. And it can be used in interrogation as well- "Please stop spinning me around! I'll tell yo...
