Re: 174-175: Got milk?
I've got to say Beryl's blush looks weird. It looks like she just has some of those glare-reducing face markings you see on American football players rather than an actual blush. I think it's a combination of being too small of an area darkening, not quite the right area darkening, and the hard edge...

Re: Page 169: The most messed up!
It's reminiscent of a lot of stories about WWI. Things like the British Pals battalions, which were made up of men recruited from a single area, and when those units inevitably suffered heavy casualties the area they were recruited from basically lost entire generations of men all at once. All Quiet...

Is that a bottle opener on the back of the comb? Also at the dis on Alex's classic '90s hair.

Huh, I would've thought that being in the military would've beaten at least some of the need for privacy out of Alex.

It breaks relativity as all FTL must; my question was aimed at whether or not the Outsider-verse FTL is exploitable as something that can cause serious paradoxes relevant for the characters. As far as I am aware, all these schemes showing FTL completely breaking sanity by producing unsolvable parad...

Re: Page 131: The one in which we learn how Loroi swear
While Talon is understandably upset at her decision, the Clearbrook's captain is making the right call here. Her options here are to make a run for it and probably escape or to pick up Highland-7 and in all likelihood get intercepted and destroyed. Picking up the shuttle carrying a VIP is pointless ...

Two pages at once? *faints*
Great work as always, but a critique that the angles on the last panel of page 122 don't seem quite right. Stillstorm is being viewed from what appears to me to be a moderately shallower angle than the angle the background is being viewed from.

I thought they were her size shoes, not her actual shoes... as in Beryl had them manufactured to that size. I am guessing it wouldn't be that big of a technological burden to 3D print (or some other technology) clothing items that might wear out, on demand. CJSF Interresting concept, if in the mist...

Re: Page 110!
Those last panels are very much LOL wut? Very minor thing, Arioch, the shading on the seam on Alex's left shoulder in the third panel doesn't quite line up the way it looks like it should. It's shaded so that the deepest point of it isn't the line of the seam itself. Just something to fix if you eve...

Re: Miscellaneous Loroi question-and-answer thread
Fireblade cannot fly, correct? Does she possess amazing acrobatic abilities augmented by her Psionic powers or does she just run around like a boring old human? Fireblade has more than enough power to lift her own body, but not fine enough control to fly safely... in the same way that she roughly "...

Huh, I always figured that you, as a software developer, would be into computers enough to build your own. Not interested in the hardware side, not enough time, or what?

Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
The seating is configurable, so there are no hard limits except space and comfort (and gear; note the seating capacity for the C-17 when carrying combat-ready troops is much less than the ferrying configuration you posted). The listed capacity on the Highland is 20-60; I think you'd be hard-pressed...

Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
Looking at the passenger capacity of the Loroi shuttles, I have to ask what the main limit is since they seem low? It can't be lack of room, since you can cram a lot of people into a space that size (example). Life support capacity?

Re: WIP Discussion (Part 1!)
I started reading this when it was up to page 43 or 44, all those years ago. Gotta love that update rate, just short of a decade to get through the prologue and chapter 1. Arioch, can you put it in your will to have your work for this posted since there's a decent chance you'll die before finishing ...
