grayhome: no, but it helps *grin*, although you can as a author/creator leave that kind of stuff to the fan made material, and get away with pretending to be morally superior.

Loroi men have.
This maybe why the Loroi are a warrior culture to being with..... (sometimes I wonder if the staring blue babes are thinking "I'd tap dat" instead of "WTF is THAT thing" when they see Alex).

Actually they aren´t really warriors. They just compensate certain shortages...

Rule 34?
Really ? Another thing I have discovered. but I believe Arioch will stay with the PG-13 rating for outsider. ( although from want I recall from the swimsuit discussion from the old forum, a beach sense could be done tastefully )

oh you horrible horrible person, my dreams have been dash onto the asteroids of lonely hearts.
well good luck dfacto
Getting back on track (I hope), what would be the average distance that a farseer could reasonably and accurately pick up an enemy fleet. Its been said that a farseer has a harder time of seeing fleet that are close to inhabited planets, while fleet crossing the steps can be pickup accurately ( until recently). Yet, under the best conditions, what would be the best range 50AU, 200AU ? I'm thinking more like 100 to 200 AU range

Do you mean the minimum useful distance from an inhabited planet for the farseer to differentiate between planet and fleet or do you mean maximum useful interstellar distance at which a fleet can be detected?
If the latter I assume you were thinking light-years not astronomical units as 200 AU wouldn't even get you out of the solar system.

ARGH brain fart what I wanted to ask is the max distance that a farseer could accurately sense an inhabited planet ( or an individual mind) . however I would like the add the two you mentioned: A) sensing a fleet B) telling the difference between a fleet and a planet ( in light years )

Quick question: Would a pregnant Loroi be able to feel/communicate with her future offspring? i.e.: she knows exactly when the fetus is hungry and what foods it likes and dislikes or they share an awareness.

IIRC Arioch stated (do to the effect of the Loroi telepathy of touching) and have a very intimate physical link of child and mother; which can be HELL for the mother (think of having a developing mind pressing against your thoughts all the time, day or night and you get a roughly a picture of the pregnant Loroi). Hence why most loroi warrior have a C-sec around 6 months or so. (granted this was discussed a while ago so my info might not be correct).
As for after, those loroi who do give birth of a full term child ,do have a very intimate bond that results in a very protective mother ( IE having their daughter deployed to "desk duty" posts away from the fighting: thus the early C-secs for most loroi warriors)

but it was also said that baby put in artificial "womb" needed the mental contact of other loroi to developed. I dont know if there were example given of what would happen to a child who would be denied any "mental" contact
