So, taking a few liberties with just how Soia Trade is conjugated:I suspect that a lot of what the Loroi would find funny is slapstick, wacky non-sequitur Monty Python type stuff.

Shortly after the annexation of Taben (more like 'conquest' if you ask some of them):
[a Taben resistance member, 'Toroin Narrat Ziradin', is spray-painting a protest message across the wall of a back alley. An Imperial patrol walks up, two Soroin led by a Mizol Romessat].
Romessat: <What's this, then? "Mizolon Bazen à Minzanel?" 'She who is watched, the house they go?'>
Narrat: (speaking aloud, nervously) "It saying 'Mizols go home.'"
Romessat: <No it doesn't.> [The two Soroin lean back against the other wall, getting comfortable.] <Come on, what's Trade for 'Sentinels'?>
Narrat: "...Mizolon?"
Romessat: [telekinetically tweaks the Narrat's ear]: <Plural! Come on, try again!>
Narrat: "Augh! I meaning 'Mizols!'"
Romessat: <Correct!> [writes on the wall] <Now, the word for 'home'?>
Narrat: "I writing 'Minzanel'!"
Romessat: <Ahh, but is this home a specific structure?>
Narrat: "...no?"
Romessat: <So you use the...?>
Narrat: "Indefinite word?"
Romessat: <Which is...?>
Narrat: "Minzan!"
Romessat: <Good!> [writes on wall] <Now, when a group all go, it is written...>
Narrat: "Baze!"
Romessat: [Aims the spray-paint can at the Narrat threateningly] <Imperative form!>
Narrat: [eyes flinch closed] "No instead... 'Bazero'?>
Romessat: <Yes! 'Mizols Minzan Bazero.'> [Writes on wall, steps back, admires handiwork] <Now write it out a hundred times.>
Narrat: "I'd nev— or I meaning 'Yes officer'!"
Romessat: <If it's not done by sunrise, I'll cut your hair off.> [Marches away]
*Hours pass*
Narrat: [collapses with exhaustion after writing the last letter] "All is being done now!"
Soroin: <Right. Now don't do it again!> [exits]
[Second patrol walks up, two different Soroin led by one Teidar]
[Soroins stare in shock; Teidar's eye twitches]
Narrat: "...did I got a word not right?"
[Narrat exits, Stage Right, pursued by Teidar]
