Who all thinks Alex is going to end up just destroying this raiding party or at least killing one or 2?

This could also be a "proving" moment for human male warrior skills and getting his first kill or a grouping of them in this case (maybe). This could earn "humans" more bargaining cred knowing that even a average male can do this. The Loroi would then only have a better est. point for what a trained specialist in human combat forms would then be able to do. Possibly scaring the Loroi a bit, or even saving them.

I suspected as much...they are good at hacking, and a random Umiak would have torpedoed threm unless Kik tik said not to.

If it IS Umiak, then Fireblade is going to wreck them unless the Umiak are prepped for that kind of thing.

I would think they should be, unless Loroi of her power level are so rare that they hardly encounter them. In which case they will get a rude awakening to what super Loroi can do.

As amusing as that is, I don't think Alex's role in this story is to be the spiritual child of John Rambo and Beatrix Kiddo. It looks more like he's the clever guy who'll think outside the box, if his captresses will just trust him enough to follow his plan that's "so crazy it might just work!".

In case you haven´t noticed after reading the comic, Alex is not exactly having a great time since his ship got blasted.
At this point he may consider himself lucky of still being able to fix his hair.
