It has been over a decade since I last checked this site for updates, and I’m happy to see that things are still coming along! I plan to stick around this time, hence my registering on the forums.
Your handle sounds familiar. Were your registered at the old forums?

Probably learning a few words, or trying to put everything I could find on the floor in my mouth. You know, your typical toddler stuff.

I can’t recall, but it sounds like I was if you recognize me. I really have enjoyed circling back around to this comic, especially now that I have a work background that allows me to possess a greater appreciation for all of the technical details of your work.

In more detailed context, you may recall that I was one of the early “Q&A” contributors to a podcast that you participated in or were a member of with a few other webcomic writers. I had some basic questions about the physics of projectile weapons or somesuch as they pertained to space combat, if I’m not mistaken. The podcast title escapes me, but somehow asking that question is still firmly rooted in my mind.

Join the forums? 10 seconds ago.

I found the comic when I started playing Stars in Shadow back in late 2016. After the disappointment of MoO2016 (and before Stellaris revamped its strategic map system), I was very happy to find it. Still dip into a game now and then, especially on work trips. After all, you can run it on practically anything.

Rediscovered the comic when Arioch started posting more pages last year.

I think I found Outsider via this Reddit post at r/worldbuilding, and I have been following it ever since! I mainly lurk here though. I appreciate the effort and time put into the art and story! I also enjoy reading the "Insider" section with more worldbuilding information.

I first discovered this site around mid 200x when I was playing Homeworld. But then I was only interested in HOMEWORLD Shipyards. I've noticed that there is some kind of a webcomics, looked at Jardin's face and thought that I completely not interested in that kind of stuff. Ironically.
Then, more than fifteen years later, after I discovered Master of Orion 2 and played it more than a year nonstop, I've googled something like space elves, and google get me here.
I've read the comics, read again, start reading insider, than noticed it's already morning.

Found out about Outsider yesterday reading through Atomic Rockets. Ran across their mirror of the article describing how the jump drive works. Finally got around to reading the comic this morning and it's amazing. Definitely a fan. :)
