I feel like we're nearing chapter 3, the nights get longer, colder (in this hemisphere), something in the wind tells me so.
Word of God is that Chapter 2 is about to end. Bear in mind that Chapter 2 proved to be longer than expected and he broke it into two parts, the second part will be 'Chapter 3'

It's just your arthritis.
You gotta take better care of yourself if you wish to read this comic to its conclusion.

(I just hope that Arioch somewhere left readable notes for his fans, that in case something happens the notes get published, so we can read the storyline.

That's good.
So if I outsurvive Arioch, I'll at least get to know what the story should've been.
Although I definitely prefer to continue to read it in graphical form.

The documents are held in a swiss bank box and will be released when presented with proof of Arioch's demise. So if you want to read them early, there's a way to do it. But there's also a price to be paid for such hastiness.

lol. So Arioch's gonna pull a George R. Martin on us and string this out forever! lols. Well I guess that sort of worked for Robert Jordan! 'shrug'

IIRC, there were originally 6 chapters planned.
Wonder if that means we'll have 7 chapters instead.
One for each Loroi sector!

I think Arioch draws more from James Cameron than GoT.
I didn't start watching Game of Thrones until 2016, so no, there's not much GoT influence in Outsider.
Ahah, now we know why Martin hasn't been able to finish the series, yet.

Not sure about the whole creative process, but I imagine if you've been working on something for two decades, your feelings about how things should turn out might have changed here and there, or have they?

Well, one of the reasons that I was able to start Outsider was that I had a pretty good idea what it was about, and it had a pretty clear beginning, middle and end (unlike most of my other story ideas.) Since then, I have had tons of new ideas, and many of the details in the story have changed, but the story arc and climax are still the same. I think it would be very noticeable otherwise, as I find it easy to sense when the storyteller changes horses midstream. I am still changing and adding things on the small scale, and sometimes new details of backstory lead to significant revelations about what other elements mean or how separate elements are actually related, and that's exciting as a creator, but if it's done right these new insights reinforce the original story arc rather than cause it to wander off course. It's also important not to cram every new idea into the setting if it doesn't belong (and having other story projects helps in this), and every bit of new backstory detail doesn't necessarily have to be shoehorned into the narrative (and having appendices like the Insider helps in this).
I just hope that Arioch somewhere left readable notes for his fans, that in case something happens the notes get published, so we can read the storyline.
He did.
He did eh?...
...any chance I could get a link to these notes?
Please.
Pretty please.
I didn't post my notes, if that's what you're looking for. I said that in the unlikely event of my untimely demise, my family knows how to wrap things up.
