Re: M.O.O. 2
I had some good fun on MOO3 using multiplayer with a friend. Some of the different design mechanics within the game were good, but only to a degree. I will concede that MOO3 doesn't hold a candle to MOO2. Its just a shame MOO2 can't be played to the galaxy scale that MOO3 could.

Re: WANT!
Logistics involves "bureaucracy", red tape, politics, unnecessary paper work, in some cases butt kissing. It not simply a case of picking up box 1 from spot A and moving it to spot B, if only it were

Re: WANT!
Small operations get away with being allowed to sell world wide. But large providers like steam are subject to a lot of red tape, especially once they start setting up localised servers and offices. Add to that the games publishers will treat the bigger services just like any retail centre and somet...

Re: WANT!
The reason the yanks get most programs, movies and games before Europe does is most of the producers are based in North America. Add to that the logistical nightmare of arranging release events in different countries with different laws and standard and you can see why it might take a while and a go...

Re: What would YOU pick
The playing environment in eve is very aggressive and its not a forgiving game to new players. Things have gotten little better with the passage of time, but its still harder to settle into than many other MMO's. Knowing someone who actively plays and is willing to help you goes a long way to making...

Re: What would YOU pick
I played MOO3 with a friend for a while. It was entertaining when the social side was added but still didn't hold a candle to MOO2. After a couple of games we didn't touch it again.

Re: WANT!
The other trailers from the previous years of the 60's variant weren't really doing it for me, but this rehash of the tradition game into a modern twist is definitely mouth watering. If they can pull this off, and sid's crew usually does, then I foresee many late nights and early morning last to hal...

Re: Mars rover landing - Curiosity
I missed the landing, was to late/early and was in bed. I'll watch a recorded feed if I can find one later when I'm home after work. Still, impressive accomplishment.

Probably for security reasons, especially given nature of data mining and trolling communities these days. Displaying a bandwidth cap message hands out the information that the site has bandwidth limits placed on it so you could use it to look up package information or invites possible capping attem...

I always had a personal like for the Mosquito. Laughed at when it was first presented, it went on to become one of the most versatile planes of the war.

Re: Insider, Updates
In last years release Dungeon Siege 3 there was introduced a blue skinned race called Archons. This is a spirit linked sisterhood of fire spirits who were created to serve their gods, gods who have since disappeared. Part of the back plot of the game is their factions search for their creators whils...

Re: Page 95: I'd rarely EVER pass up a chance to annoy Calla
Its no secret one of the sources of inspiration for some of the outsider designs was Homeworld and work from some of the Relic artists. This just brings back some good memories of the game and the community. Beyond a couple of skirmish games I've not touched Homeworld since 2008 after the Activision...
