EDIT: I might try hosting. It doesn't take anything beyond the game itself, right? Don't have to do server setup or anything?

I'm gonna be available most weekends and a Fridays, though I DID just start NaNoWriMo, so that might take up a bit of time.
I do have a mic.

Re: Just bought SotS complete collection on Steam.
Just SotS complete myself, I've been wanting to try this one for a long time. Pretty fun game so far, but I've still got a bit of learning to do. What do you say next weekend or maybe the one after we see about getting a multiplayer game going? That would give me and Casimir (assuming he wants to j...

Heh I just kinda zerg-rushed for tutorial combat. It's fun though! I've been playing mount & blade too, so I've kinda been in the mood for the "research and deploy" style gameplay.
It's fun!

Just bought SotS complete collection on Steam.
It's 5 bucks 'cause there's a sale. Anyone else get it?
Also, I have no idea how to play this game. I only bought it because, as I recall, you guys said it was good.
Therefore, how do I play this?

I've grown to like slightly asymmetrical designs, so these get a special spot.

Re: Concept Fanart of Future Terran Ship Designs
Star Wars writers are silly, but not THAT silly. The Ultra SD is probably a more reasonable and believable warship than the Death Star, so... yeah, I think they are that silly. Galaxy gun. Death Star doesn't even stack up to the silliness of the Sun Crusher. Ugh. Approximate quote from one the book...

Starcraft terminology: its can take a while to get @grey: where does the Ultra Star Destroyer appear in the Star wars expanded uni ? or is it a fan-creation I believe it is fanmade. Re: Concept Fanart of Future Terran Ship Designs
Star Wars combat doesn't take place in a Newtonian universe. True. In menace there was a ship landing on to city and slowing down while it's every glowing thrusters were pointing on to space. That means that ships big enough aren't affected by either gravity or the law of velocity. My favorite one ...
